Tensions boiled over the players of the University of the Visayas and the University of Southern Philippines Foundation. Cebu Daily news posted the action on Facebook showing a huge punch to some member of both teams.

The tournament was launched earlier this week for an Inter-collegiate Christmas League. The basketball tournament features Cesafi teams led by reigning champion University of the Visayas, runner-up University of San Jose-Recoletos, University of Southern Philippines Foundation, University of Cebu and Southwestern University. The league opens on December 8 at the Minglanila Sports Complex.
The cause of the brawl still yet to identify and a disciplinary action would take place to both teams.
