Some of Australian media tabloid had take pride in Catriona's win in Miss Universe 2018, however people noticed the front page of The Courier Mail, which underneath is written the words "Miss Universe Philippines."
But, funny thing is that the paper crossed out the name of Philippines and wrote "Queensland."
Meanwhile, Australian website Hit published an article with the headline, "An Australian Girl Just Won Miss Universe But She Wasn't Miss Australia."
Catriona was born in Cairns, Queensland to a Scottish-born father and Filipina mother. After attending school in Queensland, she moved to Manila to work as a model. So while she is most definitely Filipino, she's also Australian!" a portion of the website story.
