Masungi Georeserve shortlisted as a finalist for Tourism for Tomorrow Awards

The Masungi Georeserve is a conservation area located in the rain forest of Rizal has gained international recognition. The World Travel and Tourism Council's (WTTC) has chosen Masungi as one of the 15 finalists for the Tourism for Tomorrow 2019.

The georeserve that have been protecting for over a decade will compete for the Destination Stewardship Award with Brazil's Grupo Rio de Prata and St. Kitts and Nevis' Sustainable Destination Council.

The place is best to guests with love to nature - could be able to reenergise themselves while doing hiking, camping's and most of all escaping from the noise and pollution of the metro. 

Guests are allowed to go through the conservation area, and come up close with the karst terrain. The trail is lined up with rock and concrete blocks making it easy to cover the area. 

The famous place that you shouldn't miss while in Masungi are the Silungan, Sapot, Yungib ni Ruben, Tatay, Nanay, Ditse, Patak, Duyan, Bayawak, Liwasan, and Sawa.

The finalists will go through three-phase judging process which includes onsite evaluation.
