Samsung Galaxy Fold available on April 26: Specs, Price, Review and Photos

Samsung has unveiled the new face of smartphones in the future by bringing the Samsung Galxy Fold. Recently, the company is revealing more about what this unique smartphone can do before its planned to get available on April 26.



The folded phone is going to be best among other smartphones that was introduced so far in the market."Buckle your seatbelt, the future is about to begin," the words of Samsung's CEO DJ Koh on stage at Samsung Unpacked.

The phone will start at the range of $1,980, through AT&T and T-Mobile in the US, with free wireless earbuds. The company is also planning to launch the device in Europe on May 3rd, starting at 2,000 euros. 


The phone is packed with both LTE and 5G version of the Galaxy. The phone is just a combination of a smartphone and a mini tablet with 7.3-inch Infinity Flex Display that can be folded to fit into your pocket.

The main display is QXGA with (4.2:3) resolution, if you fold, it will transform to a phone mode 4.6-inch HD + (12.9) display. It has a Universal Flash Storage of 512GB, 3.0(eUFS) for fast speeds. It is built with 7nm Qualcomm octa-core processor and 12GB of RAM.

The device has two batteries that are separated by the fold but combined in the Android operating system with a total of 4,380 mAh. 

The 4G version of the Galaxy Fold is set to go on sale on April 26. However, a more expensive 5G edition is expected also soon as promise.
