Google blocks Huawei from using apps on its phones including Gmail and Maps

Millions of Huawei user device will be affected on the latest move of Google to suspend Huawei's access to updates its Android operating system. The Guardian reported that chip makers have cut off supplies. Android said that they're complying with orders from the US government as it seeks to blacklist Huawei around the world. 



Huawei is one of phone and tablet manufacturer dependent to Google developed Android operating systems.

Existing customers will be able to update their phones and apps, but will no longer update the newer version of the Androind operating if available.

The Verge has reported that Google has cut off Huawei's license. This means that apps like Maps and Gmail will be affected, as well as Google's security updates.
