A Proclamation No.729 has been signed, by the authority of President Rodrigo Duterte through Secretary Salvador Medialdea, declaring June 5, Wednesday, a regular holiday in observance of Eid'l Fitr, an Islamic celebration that marks the end of Ramadan for our Muslim brothers and sisters.
The order has been signed on May 28 after the recommendation of the National Commission of Muslim Filipinos to declare June 5 a holiday.
