LGBT community in Bacolod city hosted a Pride March from old city hall to Lacson street. The Pride March aims to raise public awareness on the issues and concerns facing the LGBT (lesbian,gay,bisexual, and transgender) community such as human rights, equality and sexual freedom.
In a country where conservative people are majority, finding a safe place to express freedom for themselves isn't always easy for the LGBT community.

Across the world, pride march are events celebrating LGBT culture and pride. It is a positive stance against discrimination and violence toward LGBT people to promote their self- affirmation, dignity, equality rights, and celebrate sexual diversity.
