Gilas Pilipinas eye the 14-year-old 6'8" tall Kobe Demisana from Pontevedra, Negros Occidental. He is now set to train in Florida USA for Jr. NBA youth camp.
Henz Gabriel "Kobe" Demisana from Bacolod Tay Tung High School were one of the three Jr. NBA Philippines All Star who topped the recent National Training Camp of Jr. NBA Philippines 2019.
Joining him are Sebastian Roy "Basti" Reyes from Nazareth School of National University and Lionel Matthew Ribico from De La Salle Lipa to represent Asia Pacific at the NBA Global Championship later this year, while Camille Nolasco from Miriam College made it to the girl's team.
They competed against young players from Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam in a two-day camp that focused on technical and tactical skills development, as well as five-on-five competition.
The Selection Camp features 34 boys and 34 girls from across the Asia Pacific that competed for the opportunity, to represent in the Jr. NBA Global Championship - a youth basketball tournament for the top 13 and 14 year-old boys and girls teams from around the world.
