U.S. visa applications now requires applicants to submit their social media accounts

Part of the United States tighter security precautions for incoming individuals going to America is, that applicants for the US visas need to submit their social media account details under the newly adopted rules. 



These details include your usernames, phone numbers, and email addresses for the last five years. However, people travelling to the US to work or to study will have to hand over their information.

According to the Federal Register, an estimated of 14 million travelers and 710,000 immigrants will be affected by the new rule.
