Alodia Gosiengfiao loses her luggage in China, fellow cosplayers offers help

Alodia Gosiengfiao, the Filipino professional cosplayer has lost her checked luggage on a recent flight to Xi'an, China, for the World Cyber Games.

Gosiengfiao posted a photo of herself saying that she arrived in Xi'an with "no clothes, no makeup and no cosplay costume."

"My Chinese visa just arrived a few hours before my flight. I arrived in Xi'an and lost 2/all of my check-in luggages during the flight," Gosiengfiao said on Instagram. "So I had nothing, until now I have nothing. No clothes, no make up and no costume."

She added that still she was lucky because many cosplayer guests from different parts of the world offered her a help including those from Mexico, South Korea, Germany and Russia. "Team Korea lend her a costume, makeup, wig net and underwear jk shorts," she wrote.

Camaraderie is not dead.⚔️ (or was it chivalry is not dead.. 🤔) This is the official guest cosplay team from all over different parts of the world for #WorldCyberGames.. and they saved my life 😭 Special thanks to Team Mexico @twiincosplay for the moral support since Day 0. They wanted to lend me their fabulous armor but I'm too tiny to be in them! 😭 Many thanks also to Cong of Cosis Team Korea for lending me this lovely Clash Royale Archer cosplay, and the makeup! I was already getting so depressed in the morning and they surprised me with this by noon 😭 They are so sweet! 💕 And of course, the MVP @liui.aquino for the underwear jk shorts! Now he got it back and is planning to sell it 😐 What a true friend 😂 Thank you also Team Germany @chiisaisaku for all the advice, Team Russia @smirko_o @oyukacosplay for the Murlok energy, Team Japan and Team China for helping me find my luggage. I'm so lucky to be around kind cosplay souls 😌🙏🏻 3 more days to go! Just getting more exciting! 💖 PS: My luggage isn't here yet. But still hoping it arrives soon! 📷: @fujifilmph
