Anne Bistro's Three Winning Menu Wowed Tanduay Rum Festival Culinary Experts

The first ever Tanduay Rum Festival 2019 kicked-off with the exciting culinary competition. Top International culinary experts are invited to choose for the best from the two categories, the Savory and Dessert. Participants will be challenged to create their own rum-infused dishes using locally-sourced ingredients.


Three entries from Anne Bistro stand out the most - from main dish entry (Red Curry Prawn Risotto), Appetizer (Kinilaw na Tuna), and Dssert (Honey Rosemary Cake). The team from Anne Bistro headed by chef Dan Altarejos bags all the top awards.


Anne Bistro's Red Curry Prawn Risotto won the 1st prize in main dish category, from the creative hands of Dan Lendle Altarejos and Christian Rey Dela Cruz.

Mouthwatering Honey Rosemary Cake dessert of John Fred Olvido and Niel John Cortez.

The winner of the culinary contests received P25,000 as the champions, P15,000 for the first runners-up, and P10,000 for the 2nd runners-up.

Meanwhile Laurence Emmanuel Conlu of Al Fresco Cafe - LCC Bacolod, was declared as the best in Mixology Flairtending contest.
