A bizzarre footage shows a Southwest Airlines flight attendant climbs into the overhead lagguage compartment of the plane.
The airline later characterized the portion of bizarre stunt as a joke which was quickly went viral online - some of the travelers shared the video on Twitter.
An unnamed cabin crew member of a Southwest Airlines flight from Nashville to Philadelphia was caught on cam lying inside an overhead luggage compartment.
Passenger Veronica Lloyd made a snapped of the flight attendant just looking at the passengers during boarding.
"I think she was doing it to try and be funny and make the passengers laugh," she told Fox News.
The airlines has released a statement through DailyMail saying, "Southwest Employees are known for demonstrating their sense of humor and unique personalities,’ it read. ‘In this instance, one of our flight attendants attempted to have a brief moment of fun with Customers during boarding. Of course, this is not our normal procedure, and Southwest Crews always maintain Safety as their top priority."
