Bacolod, Philippines - Around ten armed man are believed to have struck two jewelry counter at the Gaisano Grand Mall in Singcang-airport, Bacolod City around 6:40 PM, August 7. The incident triggered a commotion at the lobby of the mall with shoppers, witness said.
An eye witness called the group as "Martilyo Gang" as robbers used hammers as tools to smash open jewelry display cases and a shots had been fired at the mall.
A hammer that was used by the group was recovered at the jewelry counter. Police are investigating how the suspects were able to bring long fire arms given the strict security measure of the mall.
No casualties were reported.
