Around 620,000 households to get free TV sets ahead of China's National Day Parade

China is distributing free TV sets to over 620,000 poor households so they can watch the National Day parade. Since, it is expected that there are some who couldn't attend the 70th birthday of the People's Republic of China, authorities are ensuring that all citizens will get a chance to watch on TV.

More than 620,000 donated television sets are being distributed to families across the country. Each will receive a 32-inch LCD colored TV to areas in old revolutionary bases and poor areas in 24 provincial-level regions.

No single penny will be charged for services and other related expenses such as subscription fees as all localities will be ones in-charged of everything.

China is expected to show off some of its latest and advanced weaponry the world has ever seen during the National Day military parade in Beijing on Tuesday, October 1.
