These two great legend of Mandaluyong 'Manda and Luyong' painted in the two columns of MRT in Shaw Boulevard Flyover is somehow gives us a relief despite of the hustle and bustle of traffic in the Metro.

UP's young artists Ang Gerilya from the college of fine Arts reimagines the two great Filipinos which inspires commuters who are often stuck in the usual Metro traffic. The group shared on social media the photos of their newest project in the city of Mandaluyong. The public art initiative was to inspire people with the colorful history of the city.

The group finds the street as the biggest gallery of art in the world with their vision to share the gift to common people. From bystanders, street kids, vendors , and daily commuters who pass this way, they are the audience.
The group is often commissioned to paint on walls and posts in the Metro, including Luneta Park, Intramuros, and even along Edsa.
