Flight was delayed after a Chinese woman aboard a Xiamen Air jet opens the emergency exit of the plane, moments before take-off. According to report, the woman who was detained by police said, she opened the emergency exit to breath some fresh air. The incident happened on Xiamen Air flight MF8215 which was scheduled from Wuhan to Lazhou.
The woman of age 50s was already briefed the rules when sitting next to the emergency exit and reminded her not to touch the button that opened the emergency exit, South China Morning post has reported.
The video went viral online and showed the woman explaining the cabin crew that she needed some fresh air and touched the button to open the exit.
