A bug in Facebook's flagship iOs application caused the app's camera to activate after users tapped on photos while browsing their news feed.
Facebook vice president, Guy Rosen took to Twitter to address the issue and concerns, "We recently discovered that our iOS app incorrectly launched in landscape. In fixing that last week in V246, we inadvertently introduced a bug where the app partially navigates to the camera screen when a photo is tapped. We have no evidence of photos or videos uploaded due to this".
