A post went viral when Stacey Sumereau, the bride in a wedding that his husband washed her feet instead of tossing a garter.
During the wedding, couples used to toss a garter as a symbol of the newlyweds consummating marriage and show to all of their loved one on their wedding. It is done right after the bride tosses her bouquet.
But on Stacey's post on her Facebook account, she was then surprised that her husband make different instead of tossing her garter.
"My husband washed my feet at our wedding reception instead of tossing a garter. The garter toss signifies Eros- sexual attraction and a public hint of the private intimacy the newlyweds will enjoy. Physical attraction is a wonderful and beautiful part of marriage; however, I LOVE that my groom chose to surprise me with something different...
