Boy gets support from entire kindergarten class during his adoption hearing


All out support showed by the entire kindergarten class for Michael Clark Jr. during his adoption hearing in the 23rd annual Adoption Day in Kent County. The 5-year-old boy invited all his kindergarten classmates to witness the heartwarming day as judge set all things official for his new family. 

Many of whom could be seen holding multi-colored cut-out hearts attached to sticks and cheered for Micheal.

Finally, after almost a year before the process was formally completed, Michael could officially call David Eaton and Andrea Melvin his Dad and Mom, respectively.

The couple have been married for almost 10 years and wanted to be a foster parents and adopt a kid eventually. The couple received a call about Michael who have been in and out of the foster care system. Michael is popular at school, who enjoys basketball and among other school activities.
Michael's teacher, Kerry McKee thought that it would be great to have the whole class during the hearing.

Michael's new parent were amazed to see friends of their son in court, and they invited the kids including their parents for play dates into their homes.
