Brgy. Ginebra took first blood of the 2019-20 PBA Governor's Cup finals at the Araneta Coliseum on Tuesday, January 7 after beating Meralco, 91-87.

Japeth Aguillar came up with a defensive stop as he block Allen Durham attempt at the goal. Brownlee erupted for 38 points and 16 rebounds, including 4 fouls shots-clinching free throws.
