While he was tragically shocked of everything, Lebron James finally made his first public statement a day after Kobe Bryant's untimely passing, saying he was "heartbroken and devastated".
The four-time NBA MVP Lebron James who was left crying while writing his post vows to continue Bryant's championship legacy with Los Angeles Lakers.
The 41-year-old Bryant was among the nine people, including his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, who were killed on helicopter crashed in California.
"I'm Not Ready but here I go. Man I sitting here trying to write something for this post but every time I try I begin crying again just thinking about you, niece Gigi and the friendship/bond/brotherhood we had!
"I literally just heard your voice Sunday morning before I left Philly to head back to LA. Didn't think for one bit in a million years that would be the last conversation we'd have. WTF!!
"I'm heartbroken and devastated my brother!!
"Man I love you big bro. My heart goes to Vanessa and the kids. I promise you I'll continue your legacy man!

James and Bryant were fierce rivals during their time together in the league, but became friends as many players do. James surpassed Bryant to become The NBA's third-highest scorer of all time just after they defeated Philadelphia 76ers recently 108-91.
A report also revealed that James talked to Bryant just hours before the tragic incident, where he allowed his teammates to listen their conversation by putting a speaker on.
Bryant even uploaded a photo of himself with James on Instagram with a captioned: "On to #2 @kingjames! Keep growing the game and charting the path for the next."
