Marikina City has step up its security and surveillance effort to people with high temperature and social distancing by deploying drones in the crowded areas. These drones has the ability to scan people's temperature and would be able to warn anyone to stay away from the crowded areas.

GMA News, 24 Oras report said that the talking drone was first deployed in Marikina Public Market. The drone is equipped with a thermal sensors checking temperature and through a speaker attached into it, operator's can be able speak over the crowd.
The thermal sensor is as accurate as a normal infrared thermometer.
Apart from the drone, the local government had set up disinfection tent in the entrance of shopping center which sprays shoppers going in and out of the area with disinfectant.
