The Supreme Court said 27.36 percent or 2,103 out of 7,685 examinees passed the 2019 Bar exams, as it is set to release the official list of new lawyers Wednesday.
But the announcement would not be the same as of the previous years, the names of the successful Bar passers has been posted on the high court's official website due to the effort being enforced to stay at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“In light of the government’s call for social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19, everyone is advised to stay in their respective homes and check the results online,” the advisory from the Office of the Bar confidant read.
Passers were told to wait for further announcements on the clearance procedure, oath-taking ceremony, and roll-signing.
No visitors shall be allowed to enter the Supreme Court compound on the said release date.

A total of 7,699 aspiring lawyers took the November 2019 Bar exam held at the University of Santo Tomas.
