As virus dies down, fever flares up over ABS-CBN shutdown - celebrities react!

The National Telecommunications Commissions ordered earlier today, May 5, to stop ABS-CBN's operations and the heat flares up with the divided views of the Filipinos. However, personalities in showbiz industries joined in one voice of online protest against the shutdown of the country's largest media company. 

In the order dated May 5, the NTC directed ABS-CBN to halt its television and radio broadcasting operations nationwide. 

Minutes after the announcement, the hashtag #NoToABSCBNShutdown topped Twitter's list of trending topics in the Philippines.
