Violent protest sparked two days after the death of George Floyd, as many called for justice to unarmed black man at the hands of police officers. Protesters marched in the streets and raging fires where shown over night as protesters clashed with police.
Four police officers have been fired and the mayor of Minneapolis has called for one of the officers involved in his death to be charged with murder.
George Floyd, 46, died on Monday. Video that surfaced online showed an officer who knelt on Floyd's neck was identified as the 19-year-veteran Derek Chauvin.
Reports emerged of looting on local shops and at least one man was killed in the overnight riots.
