Kapuso creative writer Suzette Doctolero's social media post is making a buzz online after she shared a screenshot of the tax payments comparison of her network and ABS-CBN for three consecutive years.
It appeared that during 2017, 2018 and 2019 GMA-7 had payed over PHP 1 Billion in three consecutive years while ABS-CBN in comparison paid only less than Php 500 Million. She even questioned those numbers which she couldn't figure out.
"Di ko alam kung bakit ganito ang figures nung sa kabila, nakakapagtaka nga naman pero ‘di ako accountant kaya ayokong ianalisa..bahala kayo diyan," the post read.
"Pero proud ako bilang kapuso. Kasi may integredad sa pagbabayad ng tax ang kompanya ko," she added.
However, Doctolero said she wants ABS-CBN to comeback on air to exercise good business competition.
"Lilinawin ko: gusto kong magbalik ang ABS CBN kasi gusto ko na may kumpetisyon. Boring ang wala. Di na masaya. At di healthy. Mas gusto kong manalo na may kalaban. Mas may paksyet moment," she said.
