Tropical depression "Ambo" has developed east of Mindanao, PAGASA said Sunday afternoon.
"At 2:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area east of Mindanao has developed into Tropical Depression #AmboPH. Severe Weather Bulletin will be issued starting at 5:00 PM later," PAGASA announced on its Twitter.

It said the weather system would bring scattered light to moderate with occasional heavy rains over the regions of Caraga, Davao, and SOCCSKSARGEN.
