A heartbreaking photos that emerged online showing a 6-year-old girl taking care of her paralyzed dad after her mother abandoned them, left many eyes in tears.
Tian Haicheng, 40, from Haiyuan Countt, in Ningxia, China had his entire life turned upside down after he was involved in serious accident. He lost his ability to walk and couldn't work to support his family. His wife took their eldest son and leave them with his 6-year-old daughter after two months he got into accident.
The father and daughter photos went viral after Tian documents his daughter's selfless act.
"Looking after my dad, I don't feel tired at all," said Jia Jia in an interview with Yangtzi Evening News.
Their routine starts at 6 AM. Jia Jia loves to stay home to help attend to her father's need. She uses a handmade harness to carry Tian out of bed and put him in his motorized wheelchair, helping him eat, reading to him, and even tucking him in at bedtime.
Jia Jia also learned how to shave her dad's beard.
Tian suffered from comminuted fracture of the cervical spine due to the accident. He even attempted to end his life by drinking pesticide but his daughter stopped him from committing suicide.
This inspiring story only proves that whatever happens, our family will never leave us behind.
