An Air India Express flight coming from Dubai skidded off the runway and split into two is another shocking incident happened in this month of August, killing several people.
According to reports, a Boeing 737 was carrying 174 passengers, 10 infants, two pilots and five cabin crew when the plane attempted to land in heavy rain at an airport in Kerala. There was no fire on board, the civil aviation ministry said in a statement.

We lost pilot Captain Deepak Sathe in #AirIndia crash.
He was an ex IAF MiG 21 pilot with 17 squadron,Ambala.The squadron fought in Kargil war.Capt Sathe was test pilot & an instructor at Air Force Training Academy. We will miss you Sir.
