Whoa!The R&B singer Akon is building a real life Wakanda in Senegal, the futuristic city worth $6 billion.
Akon, whos real name is Aliaume Damala Badara Akon Thiam announced his plan to create a futuristic 'Akon City' next year modelled in the Marvel blockbuster movie Black Panther.
The solar-powered "Akon City" will offer hotels, university, hospitals, business district, shopping malls and leisure centres - featuring a futuristic designs by architect Hussein Bakri.
The music icon said the city would provide opportunities for Senegalese facing racial discrimination.
“The system back home treats them unfairly in so many different ways that you can never imagine,” he said.
“If you’re coming from America or Europe or elsewhere in the diaspora and you feel that you want to visit Africa, we want Senegal to be your first stop,” he added.
There have been reports that the city will going to trade exclusively there digital cash currency called Akoin.
