15-year-old Filipina Alex Eala is making a buzz online as she took the No. 2 spot in the World Juniors tennis circuit following to her impressive performance at the French Open.
She's the first Filipina who climbed 2 spots higher in the current standings of the International Tennis Federation (TIF).
The young Pinay tennis sensation has placed No.4 after winning earlier this year the Australian Open Doubles title.
She overtook both former World No. 1s in the ITF Juniors Girls' ranking, Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva of Andorra and French Diane Parry. She scored a total of 2148.75 points for the No. 2 spot.
Meanwhile, the former world no. 6 Elsa Jacquemot now became the world's no.1 after her 2020 Roland Garros girls title.
