A horrified mum took to social media and issued a severe warning to all the parents after finding a potential life-threatening TikTok video challenge that her 4 year-old daughter was a recent victim.
Mara Ordinario, thought TikTok - a social media app for sharing short video clips - was for kids. Her daughter was just following the new trends but she had no idea that one day she followed a dangerous challenge.
According to Mara, her daughter Freya used the venetian blinds and wrapped around her neck 3 times then she jumped, following a video of a kid hanging their self.
The child told her mom when asked why she do that, she revealed that she saw a TikTok clip of a kid tying their neck beofre jumping and turning into a ghost.
"Tinali kasi yun sa leeg tapos naging multo na yung bata." - that's how she described the video.
"My innocent 4yo baby girl almost lost her life because of some stupid Tiktok video. Kaya guys, please, please, bantayan mabuti ang ating mga kiddos pati mga napapanood nila," Mara said.
Mara was very thankful that the incident wasn't caused serious injuries to her girl. "I just can't imagine, paano kung wala ako that time? Paano kung nag-CR ako?? Paano kung may binili ako sa labas," she added.
Now Freya is off from using TikTok according to her mother.
