2 dead, 4 injured in QC bus fire

 Two people were dead, while four others suffered injuries after a bus in Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City caught on fire, Sunday.







The Bureau of Fire Protection-National Capital Region said the fire broke out while the bus was in motion, leaving the front and the third row to heavily burned.





The has over 20 passengers on board when it catches fire at 12:39 noon. Firefighters was rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the fire. Witnesses said that some passengers managed to break the glass windows and jump out.

Initial report says, prior to the fire, a male passenger has a heated argument with the bus conductress. In the middle of the argument, the man doused the conductress with a gasoline and set her on fire. The man was carrying a gasoline in a bottle.





However, witnesses couldn't say what the argument was all about, BSP Senior Fire Officer 1 Robin Topacio said Inquirer.
