Many people around the busy market in Davao were shocked when Ed Sheeran's song 'Perfect' began to play with a number of men giving flowers to the approaching woman who appeared to be hesitant to step towards the man who organized a surprised proposal in public.
The video has emerged online showing a dramatic moment with loved ones and friends holding banners with several heartwarming inscriptions 'begging' the woman to accept the marriage proposal.
It can be seen in the footage the unidentified man bent his knee to propose, showing to her the ring with everyone in cheers but the woman rejected.
Although the woman rejected the proposal, he wanted to explain to the man as they talk in unclear voice. The show ended as they both walk in separate ways. The man turned back in embarrassment and some of the individuals who came for the event quickly rushed to comfort him.
The incident sparked debate online with some criticizing the woman. However, a certain Analiza Bardos Geverola on her Facebook post clarified that she and the man was separated last December but he continue to pursue her for a second time around.
