The viral homeless man in Cebu known as 'Berta' seems ready to face normal life, months after he was brought to a facility in SafeHaven Cebu.
Berta, who spent years living on the streets now looks better, and in fact he was hired as a volunteer staff for SafeHaven Addiction Treatment and Recovery Village.
"Roberto Plando widely known as "Berta" officially working as volunteer staff for SafeHaven Addiction Treatment and Recovery Village," Emmanuel Llenos, center director of Safe Haven posted on his Facebook account.
"Kuya Berta your recovery is your first step to a new way life. Being part of SafeHaven is just a bonus cause the greatest thing you will be able to receive and give is your STRENGTH and HOPE to those who are still lost, broken and suffering from the disease of addiction," he added.
