TikToker Jam Magno is facing backlash for criticizing Rabiya Mateo over a reaction to Duterte's remark

Influencer Jam Magno was responding to the recent remark made by beauty queen Rabiya Mateo, refuting President Rodrigo Duterte's statement when he told presidency was no job for woman because of their emotional differences to men amid speculation his daughter Sara would run the 2022 presidential election.

"My daughter is not running. I have told Inday not to run because I pity (her) knowing she will have to go through what I am going through," Duterte said at the launch of a highway project.

The 24-year-old Mateo previously voiced her thoughts in an interview with pageant website Missosology, where she firmly believes that women 'are as capable as men' in leading the country.

However, Mateo's statement has annoyed influencer Jam Magno who aired her view via TikTok video. She remind Mateo that she would supposed to be representing the Philippines and must refrain from making controversial statement with regard to national issues.

You supposed to represent the 104 million Filipinos di po ba?
