Video captures shocking gunfight between QCPD and PDEA at Ever Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City

 Two policemen reportedly killed after a gunfire exchanged between Quezon City Police Department (QCPD) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) at Ever Gotesco mall along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City on Wednesday, February 24, around 6PM.

According to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) their agents were doing a legitimate operation in the area. Meanwhile, the PNP and PDEA has created a joint board of inquiry to investigate and determine who should be held liable on the alleged misencounter.

PNP Chief, Police General Debold Sinas, appointed the CIDG as the lead investigating body while the RD, NCRPO has been tasked to speak on any updates in order to keep the public informed.

Both the PNP and PDEA assured the public that the incident will not affect their continuing operational relationship and coordination on their effort to fight against illegal drugs.
