A footage captured moment the billiards champ Efren "Bata" Reyes was allegedly caught during a police raid in a billiard house for violating COVID-19 lockdown protocols.

In the video which was circulated online, it can be seen police and barangay officials confiscating billiard materials and the people hold up for questioning.
Authorities claim the games were held "without a permit" with Reyes could be seen playing against an unnamed player without wearing face mask.
Everyone involved inside the billiard house were warned not to run away from the officials and stressed that the incident should be settled at the barangay hall after violating the strict quarantine and health protocols.
As per the lock down protocols, sports gathering are still prohibited especially without proper physical distancing.
Reyes, 66, is also discouraged to go outside his house due to old age.
