McDonald's Philippines to vaccinate employees for free with AstraZeneca doses

 McDonald's Philippines is taking the move to vaccinate its store employees for free. The company has purchased around 100,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines from AstraZeneca.





"With the health and safety of people being our top priority, we will be providing the COVID-19 vaccine for free for our frontliners — crew and managers, in all company-owned restaurants nationwide," president and chief executive officer Kenneth Yang said.







McDonald's will be donating half of the total doses to the government and administered by the Department of Health (DOH) in accordance to the government guidelines.





Yang believes that the vaccination program against COVID-19 in the country is best weapon to protect the lives of every Filipinos. 







To remain in its commitment for the safety of the people, the company has consistently supported the government's T3 "test, Trace, Treat". They even initiated mass testing to ensure safe workplace for its employees and safe for its customers.
