SB19 treated their fans with a heartwarming song "MAPA," in honor of their parents. The new single was released under Sony Music on Sunday, May 16.
The Pinoy pop group sang the sweet and sentimental track that translate to 'map' in English, but it is literally appeared to be a merged words of "mama" and "papa".
Pablo wrote the song to "inspire people to be appreciative of everything that our parents did for us."
“We released this song to show gratitude and appreciation for helping us survive all the challenges and difficulties that we’ve encountered growing up,” Pablo said.
Prior to pandemic, the group recalled that due to their busy schedule they were able to spend much of their time away from home.
SB19 is nominated for the Top SOCIAL Artist at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards alongside global pop stars BTS, BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, and ARIAN GRANDE.
