Alexa Ilacad finally proved that showbiz has not prevented her from returning back to school to complete a degree in college. The actress took to Instagram and shared another milestone in her life, showing a graduation photo of herself with a jaw-dropping achievements.
She graduated her marketing degree with an average grade of 1.00 and maintain as dean's lister in a prestigious international school.
After years of studying to earn a diploma, Ilacad made a one "last hoorah" for her last term in college. "I am over the moon as I type this right now but finally… I AM GRADUATING! Despite all the obstacles thrown my way, I was determined to finish strong. I came, I studied, I conquered!," she wrote.
Life sometimes has other plans, this couldn't be more true for certain celebrities who dedicated their time to getting their degree but found their calling in showbiz before they ever got a chance to use their degree.
Actress Michelle Vito, who also recently graduated from college, congratulated Ilacad. Fellow celebrities such as Kaye Abad, MJ Lastimosa, and Melai Cantiveros had expressed their congratulatory messages to her.
