Do you remember Miss Universe Myanmar Thuzar Wint Lwin a.k.a Candy Thuzar who finds refuge in the US? The brave and beautiful Miss Myanmar is now working as a model in London.
In the comment section of her Instagram post, a follower asked Thuzar if she was in Myanmar. A follower responded to the question saying, Thuzar is now in London where she works as a model.
Thuzar is one of the outspoken Burmese celebrities who condemn the coup d'etat that occurred in February 1. She was actively seen in the streets and stand against the military coup, which detained their elected leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
Her journey as Miss Universe Myanmar was difficult and has been filled with trials starting from her flight to the US. arrest after the National Costume Show at the 69th Miss Universe Competition where she dressed up with a huge message "Pray for Myanmar."
Thuzar said on her Facebook post that she will miss the US, where she stayed to seek refuge for several months.
