Homeless man in Catarman with golden voice went viral

 Yes, admit it, Filipinos, love to sing wherever part of the globe they maybe, music is life for them. Pinoys love karaoke so much and there is always to be someone singing their heart out anytime of the day at the local carinderia or at every corner.




No doubt, this homeless man in Catarman, Northern Samar, Philippines became an instant celebrity after his video went viral online. In the 4 -minutes and 25 seconds clip, the singing 'palaboy' showcased his rendition of James Ingram song 'Just Once'.




The video garnered over 69k shares, more than 163K reactions and over a million views in less than 24-hours. 



In a Facebook post by Serbisyo Publiko News & Information Online, it can be seen a homeless man barefoot with long hair holding a microphone while sitting on a store floor. As the music started, he stood up and bring out the best of his golden voice.



The man was identified as Vivencio P. Empalmado Jr. tagged as "Palaboy singer ng Catarman".



Many netizens track down Empalmado to give him surprise. A group of people gave him groceries and a free haircut for his complete transformation.
