Actress turned business woman Neri Naig has stepped up after learning a heartbreaking story of the couple who got scammed on their wedding day.
Neri took to her social media account and posted a screenshot of the viral news where she offered to the newlyweds their Korean restaurant in Cebu City.
"Bilang naging bride din ako, ang pinaka ayaw natin ay mastress sa mismong kasal natin. Kahit lahat ng tao sa paligid natin, di tayo dapat binibigyan ng stress," she begin.
She then asked her followers to help her track down the couple and let them personally message her.
"Kung sino po ang nakakakilala sa bride, pakisabi po, message po ako," she said.
"Kami na bahala sa reception niya. Malapit lang naman ang Jeju Samgyupsal sa lugar nila. Dun na natin ganapin ang reception nyo. Since mahigpit po ang dine in pa rin, mga 20 pax po ang kakasya sa Jeju Samgyupsal Resto po namin sa Cebu," she continued.
She said that they will shoulder the wedding cake, program host, and other products for the couple.
"Sagot na rin po namin ang cake, may emcee ka na rin po para may program po ang reception nyo. May pabaon kaming TERRA accessories."
"Wala kayong gagastusin mag-asawa. Kami na bahala. May pa-pocket money kami sa inyo kahit papaano. Wag ka nang umiyak. Kami na bahala sa inyo," she added.
A video showing the bride breaks down in tears after finding out that their wedding coordinator Naser Fuentes had not booked the reception for their wedding had gone viral. The couple had already paid Fuentes P65,000 but they could no longer contact him hours before the wedding.
