The BTS and Coldplay collaborative single 'My Universe' is now the world's number 1 hit on Billboard chart hot 100, according to Billboard's official Twitter account posted on October 4, 2021.
MRC data reported "My Universe" have earned 11.5 million U.S. streams, tallied 5.5 million radio airplay audience impressions during the September 24-30 logged in the week.
The collab single was released on September 24, 2021, with BTS having this as the sixth song to top the list while Coldplay's second song "Viva La Vida" in 2008.As BTS logged five No. 1 debuts, now ties with music royalties Drake and Ariana Grande as the artist with the most Hot 100 hits that secured top spot in just a week it was released.
With their latest achievement, BTS became the second-fastest group to get six Number one tags in a year after The Beatle's record of one year and two weeks in 1964-1966.
"My Universe" is the 10th track in Coldplay's forthcoming album, "Music of the Sphere,' set to release on October 15.
