IKEA store in the Philippines is set to open on Nov. 25

The world's biggest IKEA store is set to open in the Philippines on November 25. The Swedish furniture maker will open its door to the public located in Pasay City.

"It has been a challenging couple of years, but we are proud that even through a pandemic, we are now ready to build a better everyday life with the many people in the Philippines," said Georg Platzer in a press release on Friday.

IKEA was supposed to open its first physical store in 2020, but it was pushed back due to the construction delays and the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to its Facebook post, customers will be able to book shopping slots online soon. It features a showroom and market hall with a total of 8,000 products.

It also announced that IKEA family members will get an early access to book shopping slots soon by signing up for free online.
