Kapuso actress Marian Rivera continued to get over 1-million followers on her Facebook account, a day before the Miss Universe coronation night.
Prior to the pageant, Marian had some 25-million Facebook followers. But, days after she confirmed that she was one of the judge of the prestigious beauty pageant, her Facebook followers also swiftly increase with over 26-million followers as of the press time.
According to Direk Mike Tuviera, CEO of Triple A talent management, Marian was selected by The Miss Universe Organization to be one of the judging panel because of her massive Facebook followers.
“Nang umoo si Marian, she was vetted by the Miss Universe Organization. Nakita naman siyempre yung massive Facebook presence niya, social media, and everything. Sila yung lumapit po at nagpaalam on how to reach Miss Marian," he said.
Miss Universe fanatics had their eyes on the actress who's part of the selection committee. She made the top trending topics as she shared her experience as member of the panel. One of the scenes was a clip of her teaching fellow judge, Bollywood star Urvashi Rautela, with the dance steps of her hit single "Saby Sabay Tayo."
Meanwhile, Beatrice Gomez represent the Philippines for the Miss Universe pageant held in Israel.
