A Malaysian bride has left her husband and guests shocked after she asked permission to hug her ex-boyfriend for one last time.
TikTok user @mayangkumay shared a video which appeared to be taken during her wedding reception and showed a moment she asked for the groom's permission for a very unusual request.
The video clip has since racked up hundreds of thousands of views, but with different opinion from the viewers.
While some have praised her new husband for having such a good heart, others might have saying they could see the "hurt" on his face.
The man approach to the couple to congratulate them on their marriage, offering to shake the bride's hand, but she requested one last hug.
She return to her husband and asks him: "Can I hug just one more time?"
The groom has granted her request, she wraps her arms around him in a warm embrace with her bouquet still in her hand.
Clearly grateful, the ex goes to shake the husband's hand in thanks, but he too pulls him in for a hug.
One comment said: "Your face can't lie bro... it's hurt but it's OK!"
Another one: "He tried to pretend to be OK!"
But others still believe that, "if he allows it, it means he is not an insecure husband."
