A school allegedly disallowed at least four graduating Senior High School from wearing dresses to their graduation ceremony, and they are required to cut their long hair.
According to Miss Mela Habijan Twitter post that went viral, June 26, a certain Nicole, Kendi, Jade, and Rey are not allowed to join their upcoming graduation rites as the school enforces dress code.
"They are graduating Senior High School students. Sadly, they aren’t going to their graduation ceremonies on Monday, June 27, for they aren’t allowed to come in dresses and they are required to cut their hair," said Habijan.

Habijan said that the four was told: "Formal event yun!""hahaba naman ulit yan!""Tanggap naman namin kayo, pero..."
Habijan calls for equality saying, "Let Trans students march!"
"I know this won't take the pain away. They were robbed of an opportunity of a lifetime to march and receive their hard-earned diplomas. I wish I could do more for them. I tried to move mountain s and talks to DepEd leaders regarding their (and other LGBTQ+) situations," Habijan added.
In a separate Twitter post, Habijan was happy to announce that the four student was able to march and got their diploma on stage.

It appears that the school allows the four transgender students to wear their most comfortable dresses.
