Vice Ganda clarified the issue of his breakup with Ion Perez.
In the episode of It's Showtime last August 16, Wednesday, Kapamilya host Vice Ganda addressed the issue of his breakup with Ion Perez is not true.
Recently, the relationship between Vice Ganda and Ion Perez has become an item on social media.
On the Wednesday episode, Ion Perez appeared in the noontime show. His colleagues especially Vice Ganda welcomed him.
Vice Ganda gave a tight hug to his partner who returned to Showtime after a six-day vacation in Japan.
"I'm celebrating because Ion is back from Japan," Vice said happily.
According to Vice Ganda, this has to be the longest separation between his boyfriend after they were together under the same roof when the COVID-19 pandemic began.
Co-host Anne Curtis asked Vice Ganda if they miss each other too much.
“Oo alam mo umiiyak na nga ako sa gabi. Magmula kasi noong pandemic, nagsama kami sa bahay tapos hindi na kami nagkaroon ng time na maghiwalay ng matagal. Pinakamatagal naming hiwalay three days, kunwari mayroon akong raket, siya pupunta ng Tarlac. Pero yung six straight days, alam naming malayo, first time ‘yun” Vice Ganda answered.
Vice Ganda added, "We miss each other."
Vice Ganda also admitted that balancing their time for their families is part of their relationship with Ion.
“We missed each other. Pero kasama ko ang pamilya ko noong wala siya. Balance. Nagpunta siya ng Japan kasama niya ang pamilya niya, nagpunta ako ng Bohol kasama ko pamilya ko. So bala-balanse time with our families and then back in each other’s arms ganon!”
Vice even joked about rumors that he and Ion had broken up.
“Masaya kami. Huwag kayong gumagawa ng mga ano, mga chismosa kayo! Hiwalay na daw kami ni Ion?,” Vice's joke response to fellow host.
“Etong mga damonyong ‘to. Hoy, mga damonyo!“, Vice declared cheerfully.
But on the issue that was thrown to them, this is all Vice Ganda wanted to express, "Pero masaya kami dito, masaya kaming pamilya, masaya kaming magjojowa kaya wag kayong ano mga damonyong kayo (he jokingly expressed it)".
